With 56 matches gone and group stage matches complete, the IPL has got to knock out stage. There are only four games remaining, 2 semi-finals, a third place play-off and the final. With my predicted winners Delhi Daredevils out, then I back Chennai Super kings to take the trophy.

Over a week into the tournament, the stadiums have been jammed packed for every game and the big shots continue in the IPL Season 3 as predicted in my earlier post. As if that was not enough, it has been announced that there will be two further teams next season. This will mean more games and more young and international talent on show for the World to enjoy.

The IPL season 3 is here and it all starts on Friday 12^th March 2010. The first match is between Deccan Chargers (last year’s winners) and Kolkata Knight Riders at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. The tournament consists of 60 matches, with 56 group matches and 2 semi-finals, 3^rd place play-off and final on Wednesday 21^st April 2010; it’s going to be blast all the way.
