Punjab is always a place, which offers several kinds of memory to remember. In this north Indian state, there are lots of things to enjoy. Culture, heritage, cuisine, language and lots of other things of the state are beyond the expectations.

I am always eager to explore new things about Punjab. The place, which I like the most, is Haveli. It’s basically a theme based restaurant, which is located in Jalandhar- Phagwara highway. The place shows the rich culture of its state. At the entrance of the place, I was welcomed by gate keepers, who were in traditional Punjabi attires. Some members of team Tara recently went to Blue Peter Club for some food. For those of you who do not know about the Blue Peter Club, we are not talking about the well known children’s TV programme but a popular Indian restaurant/pub located in Leicester just off Belgrave Road on Law Street. Blue Peter is well known for providing quality Indian food and at a very good price. As it is only a relatively small place, arrive early to make sure you get a table as if you get there late you may have to wait around. Also, if you are going with family get there early, as it can get a bit loud later.

Well, what can I say about the Mansah restaurant in Leicester. It’s a one-stop-shop, I mean you can dine and party to your hearts content. It’s the ideal place if you don’t fancy a night out in town, as they’ve got a large restaurant, and their own resident DJ who gets the decks spinning from 9.30ish onwards. It’s an ideal night out for families, groups of friends, couples, it seems everyone is welcome to come and dine and dance the night away.
