With 56 matches gone and group stage matches complete, the IPL has got to knock out stage. There are only four games remaining, 2 semi-finals, a third place play-off and the final. With my predicted winners Delhi Daredevils out, then I back Chennai Super kings to take the trophy.

IPL Season 3 – An Update


Over a week into the tournament, the stadiums have been jammed packed for every game and the big shots continue in the IPL Season 3 as predicted in my earlier post. IPL 2010 – Get Ready For Some Big Shots!


The IPL season 3 is here and it all starts on Friday 12th March 2010. The first match is between Deccan Chargers (last year’s winners) and Kolkata Knight Riders at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. The tournament consists of 60 matches, with 56 group matches and 2 semi-finals, 3rd place play-off and final on Wednesday 21st April 2010; it’s going to be blast all the way.

With it barely being into 2010, lady luck is certainly shining on a certain Mr Khan, no I’m not talking about Shah Rukh Khan, but the new King Khan, Aamir Khan. It’s always been said that Amitabh Bachan remains the last superstar of Bollywood, and whether there was anyone else left worthy of such stature. No.1 Test Nation: India Thrash Tigers


Over the past few weeks there has been an intriguing test match taking place in Bangladesh, where the host nation have been taking on the superstars of India. The opposition are the number one ranked test nation based on the ICC’s table which is based on various criteria. Bangladesh are a relatively new test playing nation who apart from the odd ‘giant killing’ act in the shorter form of the game such as one day cricket and T20 rarely are able to win matches of cricket against the established test playing nations.

Is Tendulkar The Best Batsman Ever?


In this article I will be discussing who I believe is the best batsman of the modern era, In terms of the modern era I am defining it to my years of watching and playing cricket so over the last 15 years. I believe things such as ODI (One Day Internationals) and Test matches should be considered as a fair measure of aggregate runs and averages. Generally a quality batsmen is equally as great in all formats of cricket whether it be the tactical war like Test cricket or the big hitting fast paced One Day International cricket. I know at this point those cricket fans who are reading this are thinking what about T20, my answer is what about it? I think it will take some years before it is established and reaches out to the cricketing purist and in terms of this article I think we can neglect to include this relatively new format.
