TEEN PATTI is dealing out on February 26th 2010 and I eagerly wait for its release as it has been one of the most talked about movie. It has a large star cast of Amitabh Bachchan, R Madhavan, Boman Irani, Irrfan Khan, Jackie Shroff, Sushmita Sen, Raima Sen and many more! Of course, everyone is highly excited to see what Amitabh Bachchan has to deliver this time, since he has already performed beyond expectations in PAA and there is no doubt that he will deliver another superior performance.
TEEN PATTI will be launching four newcomers so the industry waits to see the capability of the rising talents and it is honoured to have Hollywood celebrities such as Pierce Brosnan and Richard Gere to be appearing in the film as cameos. It is nice to have Hollywood showing respect and interest towards Bollywood movies, which emphasises the bright future of Bollywood.
However, if you think the movie is a ‘must-watch’ as it stars Amitabh Bachchan, large star cast, four newcomers, Hollywood cameos yet you are almost right. Since TEEN PATTI’s storyline is another factor of making it a ‘must watch’, as the story of the film is absolutely different to what Bollywood has produced before and the audience love different and powerful scripts, which makes a successful and entertaining movie. The story is about Perci Trachtenberg [played by Ben Kingsley] known as the World’s greatest mathematician, who meets Venkat Subramaniam [played by Amitabh Bachchan] who is a maths genius from India. Venkat discovers a theory of identifying the principles of probability and randomness. Knowing that his theory is highly superior, he tests his discovery in the real world with Perci, and both the mathematicians soon realise that the experiment of the theory moulds into a game which is out of either of their controls. .
Consequently, the film evolves with mathematical equations of randomness, honour and chance; hence it certainly seems to have a powerful script and cast yet we will have to wait for the overall product.
