The Case, Leicester – Restaurant Review

The Case has been established in Leicester since 1990, it is situated in the heart of the city providing a great location to eat and enjoy city life. It is located in a converted luggage factory with some brilliant city views and atmosphere on offer. My first experience of the restaurant was whilst on a Christmas lunch a few years ago which was very enjoyable.

Spread across four magnificent floors, everybody can find pleasurable variety from this truly independent and exclusive venue. The restaurant only cooks with fresh seasonal produce offering no-nonsense best of British food with an eccentric mix of food from around the world.

The staff at The Case were friendly and catering to our needs, the bar staff were knowledgeable and knew the appropriate drinks which would accompany each dish. The house red was a good choice to go with our main meal and I thanked the bar staff for the recommendation after the meal. The service was warm and relaxed in general, possessing knowledge and skills which have been acquired over years of practise.

They understand that the recipe for success needs to be constantly refined by wonderful staff consistently producing value for money service. Fresh talent is harboured from the city providing new chefs who embrace the much loved Case classic dishes whilst pushing culinary boundaries in creating a wave of new favourites.
