Hotel Campanile is my most visited hotel in my lifetime thanks to its quality service, it’s friendly atmosphere and the convenience of its location. Hotel Campanile is situated on the edge of Leicester’s City Centre. With a nice little bar in the lounge, seating area and wide screen T.V – great for a meeting point and a few drinks to start off your night.

Decor/ Rooms

Rooms are not the biggest of sizes but always very clean, as you would expect in a nice modern hotel in this day of age. The rooms have a nice cosy feeling to it. Showers run smoothly and powerfully and you won’t get water temperatures changing randomly. Showers have to be top notch for me to enjoy my stay, and I sure did enjoy my showers.

Service

Staff are great, possibly the best set of staff I’ve witnessed in all the hotels I’ve stayed at. Never had a problem with any of them and you’ll never feel hesitant to ask them for anything.

Food & Drink

Hotel Campanile has its own restaurant, pleasant to the eye and with the friendliest of atmospheres. Displays of food are great and the quality of food tastes just as good as it looks. Not only are Continental and Full English breakfast is available, but also evening meals. With room service available you might as well be on holiday here. Room service times are from 12 noon to 9.45pm.

Car Park

Hotel Campanile has their very own car park located just outside the reception doors, very handy indeed. It’s a decent sized car park and very secured with their automatic gates, but can get full on the weekends, I advise you to get your cars parked up early, even though you can find spaces outside the car park, but I wouldn’t risk doing that in this area.

View

As for nice sea views, you won’t be getting any of that in Leicester. If you get the room on the front side of the hotel, you will see and possibly hear the main road and its traffic zooming past, and if you’re lucky enough to get the rear end of the hotel, you get to see your car in the car park and a few buildings to gaze at. Picture perfect moment for all you building lovers perhaps!

Price

Both Single and Double rooms are available from £46, a very decent price taking into account its location and the hotels quality all round. Breakfast is £8.50, a bit pricy for some of us, or you may consider a short walk into town for breakfast if the English weather lets you.

Have you stayed there before? Feel free to share your views.
