FA Cup Quarter Final Draw

The tie of the round has to be the prospect of Chelsea facing Manchester City, if they can get past Stoke City in there replay. This must give all the other clubs even more hope of getting to the final and the dream of winning some silverware like Portsmouth did a couple of seasons ago. The fact that Portsmouth are still in the cup and on the brink of being wound up by HMRC is just adding to the drama of the cup. What a fairytale story it would be for Portsmouth if they get to the final again despite all there current off the field problems. The only tie that we know through to the next round is Portsmouth V Birmingham.

There have not been any surprises in the last round of the cup so far, but this could change as there are four replays to be paid. So far my predictions for the fifth round have been proved correct, as I was correct about Chelsea winning but no surprise there, as most people made the same prediction. I also got the Birmingham and Fulham result correct. With regards to the replays I will stick to all my original predictions of Spurs, Man City, Aston Villa and West Brom to win and progress to the next round.

The full draw for the Quarter Final of the FA cup is:

Chelsea                                  v Man City / Stoke

Fulham                                   v Bolton / Tottenham Hotspurs

Portsmouth                          v Birmingham

Reading / West Brom       v Crystal Palace / Aston Villa

My prediction for the quarter finals is for Chelsea, Fulham, Portsmouth and Aston Villa to make it to the Semi-Finals.

Let us know who you think will win?
