Well what can you say about the magic of the cup apart from Portsmouth. They have provided the drama to this seasons cup and there fairytale story is still continuing despite all the odds. Not many people would have thought that they would get to the final, myself included, but now they are there I am sure all the neutrals would be willing them on to provide one more upset and win the cup against the favourites Chelsea and all their millions.

Chelsea were slightly on the lucky side as all the major refereeing decision went their way though you might not think that if you look at the 3 nil score line. However two of those goals did come towards the end of the match when Villa had to attack and Chelsea caught them on the counter attack expertly. Chelsea will start the game as favourites and they could still do the double this season. O’Neill must hate Wembley as he does not seem to get any refereeing decisions going his way there. For most of the game it was nothing special to watch and not that exciting.

The second Semi-Final was much more exciting with both teams going for it from the start. How it went to extra time nil-nil I do not know, but what drama there was in extra time, I thought it was going to end up in penalties, but we did get one in the end. It was a well deserved win and both teams must be applauded for providing such good entertainment.

Well I for one can not wait for the final and hope it proves to be a classic with plenty of goals.  I wish Portsmouth can do it but if Chelsea gets an early goal I can see them wining it comfortably.
