Sound high school education has often served as the base for the future professional success of many modern-day Hollywood celebrities. Let’s take a look at the schools that some of the top cine stars attended.
While watching the histrionic skills of the Hollywood cine stars, it is rather easy to forget about the sheer hard work and perseverance that have led them to the pinnacle of success. Most (if not all!) of the happening Holly heroes and divas attended reputed private schools – where they got the opportunity to develop their knowledge pool and, of course, personality (which we so love!). In what follows, we take a look at the schools that some of the most well-known Hollywood stars went to:
Megan Fox (St. Lucie West Centennial High School) – Fox, the smokin’ hot leading lady of the ‘Transformers’ movie franchise, completed her schooling at the pretty famous St. Lucie West Centennial High School, at Port St. Lucie. Her snaps in the archive of the celebrity school pics still serve as a lovely reminder of the days the young actress spent over here.
Angelina Jolie (Beverley Hills High School) – Style and glamour come as easy to the hot-n-happening Jolie, as it does to Beverley Hills, in Los Angeles. Hence, it was only fitting that the ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’ lady went to the distinctly upscale Beverley Hills High School. A hearty round of applause for grooming one of the finest actresses of our times so well – that’s all we can say!
Luke Wilson (St. Mark’s School) – The ‘Old School’ man attended the St. Mark’s School, along with his elder brother (and maybe, slightly more famous!) Owen Wilson. The latter, unfortunately, got expelled during his senior years. Luke, however, went on to assume the mantle of Class President – and serves as the inspiration of many in the celebrity school pics of this academic institution.
Tori Spelling (Harvard-Westlake School) – The lady at the helm of ‘Trick’ and ‘Kiss The Bride’ received her formal education from the Harvard-Westlake School (keeping up with the tradition of cine stars attending well-known private schools!). Now on the verge of turning 40, Spelling is still a fine example of the excellent training that this school provides to its students.
Nicholas Cage (Beverly Hills High School) – Beverly Hills again, top Hollywood star again. While at Beverly Hills High School, the ‘Ghost Rider’ man had absolutely no intentions to piggybank the success of his uncle, Francis Ford Coppola, for launching his acting career. Don’t run away with the idea that Cage and Angelina Jolie were classmates however – the hero of ‘City of Angels’ was about ten years senior to the actress.
Reese Witherspoon (Harpeth allHall) – ‘Legally Blonde’ – and royally educated! The drop-dead gorgeous Reese Witherspoon features prominently in the celebrity school pics of this girls’ educational institution. Apart from being a class-topper, Witherspoon started turning heads as a really attractive cheerleader, from a tender age. We only hope that the school will keep churning out more of such pretty damsels!
Tommy Lee Jones (St. Mark’s School) – St. Mark’s School makes a comeback on this list – this time with the Academy Award-winning actor, Tommy Lee Jones. The academically talented Jones received a scholarship to pursue his education at St. Mark’s School, and also went on to become a pretty decent football player.
Jonah Hill (Crossroads) – Hollywood funnyman Jonah Hill did not go to any of the regular American private schools to get his formal education. Instead, he was enrolled at the Crossroads Arts School, Santa Monica – from where he passed out with flying colors.
The authorities at each of these academic institutions (quite understandably!) have preserved copies of celebrity school pics – which feature the above-mentioned stars. Any school would be proud of such famous alumni members, right?
