Bollywood first witnessed size zero in 2008 when Kareena Kapoor appeared in Tashan with her tremendous weight loss. Bebo’s size zero body was the Talk of the Town for over a year as the industry, fans and the World were stunned with her pencil thin figure. Last year, Kareena Kapoor appeared on Dus Ka Dum hosted by Salman Khan where she said that she will be back to her original look very soon.

True to her words, Kareena has returned to her original body and weight just months after her statement. Nevertheless, Saif watched Kareena perform in a body hugging red outfit for a recent Award Show where her weight gain was clearly visible yet Saif told Bebo that she desperately needs to loose some weight soon.

Of course, Kareena’s weight gain has not impressed her boyfriend Saif but it is certain that the change in Kareena’s curves will not affect her fan following or demand. It must not be forgotten that Kareena achieved her glamour tag very soon in her career with her film, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. Kareena played the character of ‘Poo’ in K3G just a year after she made her debut with Refugee where she was criticised for her baby fat. However, with Kareena being strong minded, she fought this criticism by toning her body without losing weight to play the role in K3G.

However, Kareena is not the only Indian actress who has a little flab and she is still attractive and popular.  The other actresses in this list are Katrina Kaif, Aishwarya Rai and Bipasha Basu who all are model-turned-actresses yet they have never had super thin figures but they have always been popular. Despite Katrina’s fuller body, she was still chosen for the Barbie Line of clothing although Barbie is known for her super style, super thin and lean look. Also, Bipasha Basu believes that a woman should love her curves and recently she was chosen for Reebok’s women’s clothing line. And of course, Aishwarya Rai, who is an international icon known for her epitome of beauty, has never been super slim but this has not stopped her from achieving the best in her career.

So, it is evident that no one needs a size zero look to be glamorous and popular and every woman should accept their contours of curves with confidence, grace and happiness just like our Bollywood beauties.
