Celina Jaitley Bags ‘Best Actress’ Award

Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF) honoured Bollywood heroine Celina Jaitley with the ‘Best Actress’ award for her English film called Love Has No Language, directed by Kahn Khan.  However, the Bollywood beauty was not even aware that she was nominated for the Best Actress category so when her name for the prestigious award was announced, she was ‘shocked’ and ‘froze’ on her seat for a moment.  Celina Jaitley was invited to the International Film Festival as a Guest of Honour as she is the ambassador of Egyptian Tourism.

The actress attended the Award show wearing an exclusive multi-hued Indo-Egyptian outfit designed by famous Indian designer, Neeta Lulla.

Love Has No Language will not be releasing in India’s cinemas, however it will be available on DVD so then India will be able to see Celina’s award winning performance.  Although, Celina Jaitley has appeared in many successful Indian movies such as No Entry, Apna Sapna Money Money and Golmaal Returns, her movies have mostly been multi-starrers so her performances have not been able to outshine against her co-stars.  Celina entered the Bollywood industry in 2003 with her debut films, Khel and Janasheen but both her films did not do well at the box office.  Nevertheless, in 6 years of her acting career, Celina Jaitley has proved her acting ability by bagging the Best Actress award that should form a new turn in her Bollywood career.

Currently, Celina is working on many Bollywood movies such as Unusual Love Story, Run Bhola Run, Hello Darling and Accident on Hill Road.  We hope that Celina reflects the same charisma in her upcoming films as she has done with Love Has No Language to strengthen her position in the industry and to prove that her Best Actress award was achieved due to her talent not luck!
