Not everyday you sit in front of your TV and watch history being made, but I can tell you it is a great feeling when you do. I witnessed the longest tennis match ever played between John Isner and Nicolas Mahut, which finished 70-68 in the deciding set, in favour of John Isner.

Nadal wins the French Open again and regains his number one world ranking. If he wins it again next season he will equal Bjorn Borg’s record of six French open titles. He won it again this year without dropping a set, as he has done previously and went the whole clay court season without losing a match and this just proves how good he is on clay and how much better he is compared to the other players. I think as long as he stays fit he will easily beat Borg’s record.

Watching the Australian Open final you have to say that Roger Federer is the King of Tennis and the best male player there has ever been. Andy Murray can take heart from reaching his second grand slam final but if he wants to win one he will have to play much better. Without question Federer is the best player there has ever been as he has won the most grand slams and on all four different surfaces.
