LEICESTER BELGRAVE MELA was brought by Lebara Mobile which took place in the Leicester City Centre on Sunday 18th July. The weather was quite good, although there was slight rain here and there but mostly the weather was quite promising so it did not ruin the entertainment of the mela. At the start of the mela, there was not many people and the atmosphere was slightly dull yet more people gathered as the time went on which livened the environment quite nicely.

Also, we should respect and appreciate everything we have to lead a good and peaceful life but we should not forget the unfortunate ones who can only dream to have our lives. On 5th December 2009, Kumar Sanu one of the best playback singer, performed to a house full audience at Platinum Suite in Leicester.
Kumar Sanu, who famously became an overnight hit for his songs in film Aashiqui (1990), real name Kedarnath Bhattacharya, has broken Guinness World Record in 1993 for singing 28 songs in one single day. He also has won Filmfare Best Male Playback Award for five consecutive years from 1990-1994, and he has received one of the India’s highest civilian honours of Padma Shri award.
