Recipe: Shortbread

Ever since I was a child, my favourite biscuit/ cookie has always been the Shortbread. Even today, it still is one of my favourites. I felt I could eat shortbread all day long, although it’s not too good on the calorie count, but as most of you know when you get a taste for something, it rarely ever goes away. With the help of my gorgeous little niece, I decided to make some for her (for me really).

Hachiko: A Dog’s Story (2010)

I’m a big fan of Action, Horrors, Martial Arts, Sci-fi films and it’s not often that I stray away from those genres. I had never heard of this film before, so I thought I’d read up on it some more, I read 2 lines regarding this film, and I was hooked. Now I’m not going to say what those 2 lines were as it will pretty much give away the whole storyline for this great film. I highly recommend this movie for everyone to watch.

Triangle (2009)

Well it’s not everyday that I get bamboozled by a movie, but this one really had me scratching my head at the end of the film. I’ve never seen a movie more confusing than Triangle. I’m not saying it’s a bad film, quite the opposite actually; it’s a really good film, just one that I had difficulty in understanding. I was expecting this to be a run-of-the-mill horror film, but it’s more of a suspense than a horror, and one thing is for sure, this movie will certainly keep you wondering what on earth is happening.

Who Said Formula 1 Was Boring?

I certainly did not. The Australian GP was jam packed full of incidents with crashes, safety car and overtaking. It was a hundred times better then the last grand prix. It always seems to be that when it rains in a grand prix it makes it much more exciting.

Couples Retreat (2009)

If this movie has introduced me to one thing, then it is the fact that paradise does actually exist. I have to say the locations for this film are absolutely stunning. It was a picture postcard moment, and when you see it the first time you will know what exactly I mean. I had really better get saving up if I want to ever grace that resort for real, as it does not come cheap.

It has taken Sony nearly 3 years to finally realise we are not happy with just sitting and playing games. Nintendo knew they could not compete with Sony and Microsoft at that so they bought us the highly successful Wii, So what is going to be different about the Playstation Move? Or is it a Wii rip off? Minimalistic Makeup Has Maximum Effect!

One of the best fashion tips is ‘Less is Better’ and this works for clothing, makeup and accessories. It is hard to go wrong when you wear simple and minimalistic makeup, since less makeup helps to showcase your natural beauty, makes you look younger and your skin looks better! As minimalistic makeup actually shows your skin whereas if you wear heavy foundation, eyes shadow, blusher and major lipstick then you are covering your skin by creating another layer of skin on top of it, which is not appealing.
